Attempted murder probe launched after three rushed to hospital in Glasgow's east end

Police enquiries are underway following an attempted murder and two serious assaults in the east end of Glasgow.

Officers were alerted to the scene at Greenfield Football Centre on Duror Street along with ambulance crews around 8:20pm last night amid reports of an ongoing incident.

Two men, aged 21, and one man aged 19 were rushed to hospital for treatment to their injuries.

Their present condition is currently unknown.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police are carrying out enquiries this morning following an attempted murder and two serious assaults. We received a call around 8.20pm last night around 8:20pm.

"Three men, two aged 21 and one aged 19, have been taken to hospital.

"Enquires are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident."
