The "frightening" incident took place around 9.05pm last night (December 22) when a woman was walking on the footpath adjacent to Main Street, Jamestown, near to the entrance at Oakburn Walk.

Two men approached the woman, pushed her to the ground and tried to grab the dog’s lead.

Both men are described as white, wearing all black clothing and had snoods over their faces.
