Police are warning the public about two attempted armed robberies last month in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.
In both cases, an armed robber approached someone and announced a robbery, Chicago police said in a community alert. However, the suspect wasn’t successful in either case.
The robberies happened:
- At 10:40 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 2300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue and
- At 10:13 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 2600 block of North Sawyer Avenue.
The suspect is described as a man 20 to 30-years-old, police said. He is 5-foot7 to 5-foot-10 and weighs about 170 pounds.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
