Atomic Kitten and Hoosiers at Neath Round Table Festival: Tickets, parking, times and rules

Neath Round Table Festival returns tonight with a whole host of live music performances, bars, food stalls and fairground rides. Among the headliners, the band behind 2007 hits Goodbye Mr A and Worried About Ray, The Hoosiers, will perform this evening, with popular noughties girl band Atomic Kitten headlining on Saturday evening.

The festival, organised by local charity, Neath Round Table, and run by volunteers, is being held at the Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields at Neath Sports Centre tonight (Friday, July 8) and tomorrow (Saturday, July 9) and will also see performances by a wide range of local bands including Who's Molly?, The Hat and Fiddle Band and The Reflex, as well as a Family Fun Day.

Advanced tickets are no longer on sale, but tickets to the evening concerts can be purchased on the gate at £5 per child under 16 and £12 per adult. Tickets for the Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 9, can also be bought at the gate. Scroll down for further information on where you can buy tickets, where you can park and the timings for the event. Tickets

Family Fun Day - Saturday, July 9

If you don't already have a ticket for the Family Fun Day, you can purchase one at the entrance to the event at Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields for £3 for an adult ticket (age 16+), children under 16 are £1 and under 5s are free. Rides and stalls are subject to additional fees, cash only.

People attending the event should be aware there are no cash machines at the site, so if you want to go on the rides you'll need to bring cash with you.

Evening concerts - Friday, July 8, and Saturday, July 9

Advanced weekend tickets have sold out, but people can still attend the evening concerts at the festival if they purchase an evening ticket at the gate. These are £12 per person aged 16+ and £5 for under 16s. Under 5s go free. You can read more stories about Neath here.

Parking

There is no parking available on site, but there are two car parks nearby. You'll find hundreds of car parking spaces at Neath multi-storey car park (now accessed via Prince of Wales Drive), just an eight minute walk from the festival site. Up to an hour's parking is just £1.50, it's £2 for one to two hours parking, £2.50 for two to three hours, £3.30 for three to four hours and £3.80 for over four hours.

If this car park is full, you can try Milland Road Car Park, which is slightly further out but still only a 16 minute walk from the festival site. Parking rates here are the same as at Neath multi-storey.

Schedule

Gates open on Friday, July 8, at 6pm and the live music is set to start at around 6.30pm. The evening will finish, and the site will close, at 11pm.

The festival site will then re-open at 11am on Saturday, July 9, for the Family Fun Day with rides, stalls and a circus workshop available throughout the day until 4pm.

At 4pm, the gates will open for evening guests with the live music set to start at 6.30pm, though the full schedule of what time each bands will be performing has not been shared. The evening will finish, and the site will close at 11pm.

Rules

People will be unable to leave the event and re-enter, organisers have confirmed. The rules also stipulate that no alcohol or glass can be brought onto the site - and any soft drinks brought in MUST be sealed.

People can bring camping chairs, if they wish, but bag searches will be in place for everyone attending the festival. Valid photo ID will be required for all purchases of alcohol and, sadly, no dogs or pets are permitted at the festival.
