Several ATMs have been stolen in July from business in West Lawn, Gage Park, and Brighton on the Southwest Side.

In each incident, the burglars forced their way into local business and took the ATMs from inside before escaping in a vehicle, Chicago police said. The power was cut from the business in more than one of the burglaries.

The four burglaries occurred between July 10 and July 20 in the overnight hours between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m., police said. They happened in:

· The 3600 block of South California Avenue;

· The 4200 block of West 63rd Street;

· The 2500 block of West 59th Street; and

· The 5100 block of South Kedzie Avenue.

Two teenage boys were seen fleeing in one incident, possibly in a white Chrysler and black Mercedes, police said. In another incident, the suspects were seen in a black vehicle wearing face masks.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
