Two ATMs were stolen Monday from businesses on the West Side.

The first burglary happened about 2:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Division Street, Chicago police said. The second happened just over an hour later, at 3:50 a.m. in the 5400 block of West Madison Street.

In each incident, three people were able to force their way into the business and steal the ATM, police said.

Additionally, the trio is suspected of trying to steal another ATM about 4:35 a.m. Oct. 5 from a business in the 1000 block of West Taylor Street, police said. They were not successful in that instance.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
