Atletico will be without Alvaro Morata after the striker was sent off against Mallorca last time out, though has been playing third fiddle to Diego Costa and Joao Felix in recent weeks.
Kieran Tripper will likely come in after being rested for the 2-0 away win in midweek.
For Real Madrid, Luka Modric may be fit to start after missing the last four matches with a thigh injury but Isco is a doubt due to his hamstring complaint.
Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Raphael Varane were all rested for the win over Osasuna and should come into the starting XI.
