Atletico Madrid kick off their La Liga campaign with a home match against Getafe at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday night.

Diego Simeone’s side have undertaken a rebuilding project this summer following the departures of key players including Antoine Griezmann, Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez, Juanfran and Filipe Luis.

Griezmann was replaced by Portuguese sensation Joao Felix and the €120 million teenager is set to make his debut in the all-Madrid clash, along with former Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier and a number of other new signings.

Getafe have found it difficult against the Rojiblancos in recent times, but Jose Bordalas’ side will be looking for another strong showing this term after narrowly missing out on the last Champions League spot to Valencia last season, when they finished in fifth place.
