Barcelona will be without Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Busquets for Sunday’s trip to Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
Dembele suffered a thigh injury in Wednesday night’s 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and the Catalan club revealed on Friday that he will be out of action for around 10 weeks.
Meanwhile, Busquets is suspended and that will mean a midfield reshuffle for the game at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Frenkie de Jong looks likely to play the pivot role in Busquets’ absence, with Arturo Vidal and Arthur expected to fill the other two positions.
Jordi Alba is doubtful, so Junior Firpo should continue at left-back, with Sergi Roberto on the right as Nelson Semedo misses out through injury.
Gerard Pique will return to the side in central defence after missing the win over Dortmund through suspension.
In attack, Antoine Griezmann will start against his former club.
For Atletico, Alvaro Morata and Angel Correa are set to start up front, with Diego Costa still sidelined.
Jose Gimenez is doubtful, so coach Diego Simeone is likely to start with Felipe and Mario Hermoso in central defence.
Joao Felix has recently returned from injury and should feature on the right.
Stefan Savic and Sime Vrsaljko are still sidelined.
