Atletico Madrid squad for Liverpool in Champions League as big injury boost confirmed

Atletico Madrid have confirmed their 24-man squad to take on Liverpool in the Champions League.

And boss Diego Simeone appears to have all his first choice options to choose from for the Anfield clash.

The Reds trail 1-0 from the first leg in Spain last month.

Several Atletico stars were missing for the match at the Wanda Metropolitano, with Kieran Trippier absent and Diego Costa only fit enough for a cameo from the bench.

Joao Felix looks to be back in contention and signs suggest Alvaro Morata will be recovered from a recent thigh injury.

Trippier and Felix took part in a group training session yesterday - and Thomas Lemar has also returned after a knock in February's match against Liverpool.

Left-back Renan Lodi also reportedly trained without any issues after being left out of the last La Liga squad with muscular discomfort.

Atletico Madrid squad in full...

Goalkeepers : Oblak, Adan, Alex.

Defenders: Gimenez, Arias, Lodi, Savic, Felipe, Hermoso, Trippier, Vrsaljko.

Midfielders: Thomas, Koke, Saul, Lemar, Llorente, Herrera, Vitolo, Carrasco.

Forwards: Felix, Morata, Correa, Saponjic, Diego Costa.
