Atletico Madrid's new £113m wonderkid Joao Felix drops future Tottenham transfer hint

Joao Felix is yet to make his competitive debut for Atletico Madrid but he's already dropped a hint about a future transfer.

The 19-year-old joined the La Liga giants from Benfica earlier in the summer for £113m thus making him the most expensive teenager in world football.

However, Joao Felix hasn't ruled out the possibility of playing in the Premier League if and when he leaves Atletico and his comments about the club he could play for should excite Tottenham Hotspur supporters.

"Premier League," he told Bleacher Report, as per the Express when asked which of the other European leagues he’d like to play in.

"Me, to Spurs? [Right] now that's impossible, but I don't know, [maybe] one day."

But for now, Felix is focused on life in the Spanish capital and doesn't want to be distracted by his enormous price-tag.

"I don't really care about [my price tag] or the money, I just want to be playing and I just want to get my job done," he added. "That's the most important thing.

"It's a dream come true to be playing with Atletico, one of the best teams in Europe and the world. I'm very happy.

"I don't have any problems with pressure, it's my job. I have to know how to handle that."

In other Spurs transfer news, an ambitious move for Juventus' Paulo Dybala has been the big talk in recent days.

In two weeks time the transfer window will be shut for Premier League clubs and the Lilywhites have already signed Jack Clarke and brought in Tanguy Ndombele for a club record £63m fee from Lyon with the 22-year-old France international being Mauricio Pochettino's priority signing this summer.

But could Ndombele soon become the club's second most expensive acquisition before deadline day?

Football.london understands Spurs have been been in discussions with the Serie A champions about a move for Dybala.

Any transfer would be an expensive one as the Argentina international is said to be rated at £80m.

It's shaping up to be an exciting end to the transfer window for Spurs and there's still strong links to Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon as well as Real Betis and Argentina attacking midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
