Julian Alvarez has been included in the Atletico Madrid squad for their Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal.
Alvarez started the first leg last Wednesday but his involvement came to an end with around 11 minutes remaining of normal time at the Metropolitano Stadium.
After being attended to by the Atletico medical staff, Alvarez walked off the pitch and was replaced by Alex Baena. The Argentine was then rested for the 2-0 win over Valencia at the weekend.
In a boost for the visitors, who must win at the Emirates Stadium to reach the Champions League final, Alvarez has been named in the squad that will travel to north London on Monday.

In addition to Alvarez, Guiliano Simeone - the son of Diego - and Alexander Sorloth will make the trip to England despite picking up knocks last week.
“Honestly, knowing them, they’ll definitely be there on Tuesday,” Simeone revealed after the 1-1 draw in Madrid.
“I can’t imagine any of them missing out. They’ve got some knocks.
“Giuliano from a blow, Julian from the fall he had in midfield, and Sorloth with some tightness in his hamstring, but I have no doubt they’ll be available.”

"The first half was evenly matched – maybe they had more possession, but they didn't create many chances,” Simeone added. “They have a very strong squad: when the substitutes came on, they were better than the starters.
“Even so, we were better than them in the second half.
"They eased off a bit, and we got our organisation together. We were better at the back and created chances through [Antoine] Griezmann and [Ademola] Lookman.
"Today was incredible. Rarely have we seen such enthusiasm as we had at the start of the match. They won’t all be there for the second leg, but their hearts and souls will be."
