Atlanta’s Ozzie Albies had some sweet chats with a cop and an ump before Game 1

Baseball in October can be a stressful time for players, managers, and fans as there is a lot on the line every time a game begins.

Don’t tell that to Atlana Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies, though. The 22-year-old, who made the NL All-Star team last year, was in a playful mood before and during Game 1 of the Cardinals-Braves series on Thursday.

Albies, who is mic’d up for the game (and should be mic’d up for every game going forward), first introduced himself to a police officer in the dugout and then told the second base umpire how much he loves playing baseball.
