Atlanta Falcons fans had the saddest reaction to their team’s first-round draft pick

Many Atlanta Falcons fans got in their cars and headed to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday night, all fired up for a NFL Draft watch party.

Grown adults in jerseys threw back a bunch of food and I’m guessing some good drinks while watching Thursday’s first round unfold on large screens.

They didn’t have a pick until No. 14, so they watched and waited for their chance to see who would be joining the team.

They saw other fans celebrating around the country after they landed big names.

Finally, it was Atlanta’s turn. It was time to PARTY. It was time to GO THE HECK OFF.

And then the Falcons picked a guard from Boston College (Chris Lindstrom), and the fans didn’t know what to do.

But God bless whoever was on horn duty, because this was a thing of beauty:

Amazing.

Thank you for this, Falcons fans. You just made my NFL Draft.
