CCTV images have emerged showing a missing schoolgirl getting on a train, hours after she vanished from her home in Sandy, Bedfordshire, six days ago.

With fears growing for 13-year-old Atlanta Butler, police have released new images of the teenager catching a London-bound train on Thursday morning.

In the images, Atlanta can be seen boarding the 10.56am train from Sandy railway station to London St Pancras – hours after she was last seen at home by her family at 7.45am.

Officers believe she may be in London but she also has links to Milton Keynes.

Atlanta is described as having medium-length straight dark hair and blue eyes and is about about 5ft 1ins in height.

She was last seen wearing light-coloured trousers, a black zipped top and white trainers, in images captured on CCTV cameras at a Co-op store in Market Square and at the station.

Police said Atlanta could also be wearing a mustard yellow hooded sweatshirt with the word “Weekender” on it and was carrying a large black shopper handbag with a thin strap when she was last seen.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting “Op Appledore” and reference number 198 of 5 December. To give information anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
