The Atlanta Braves will kick off a three-game series tonight against the Miami Marlins from SunTrust Park in Atlanta. The Marlins will start their young 23-year old right-hander Pablo Lopez, while the Braves will give the nod to Kevin Gausman. Braves went 14-5 versus the Marlins last season.

Braves: Gausman makes his first start of the season tonight after being on the DL. Last season the Braves acquired Gausman and he was lights out with a 2.87 ERA, he looks forward to continuing that this year. The Braves are averaging 5 runs per game, but their pitching has been very inconsisitent this year. Keep an eye on Freddie Freeman who crushed the Marlins last year hitting .387 with eight home runs.
Marlins: Lopez gets the start for the second time this season, he got the win in his season debut against a tough Rockies offense last week. He allowed three runs in 5 innings and the Marlins took that game 7-3. Miami has a young lineup that has some trouble scoring runs, but they do have the vet Starlin Castro who will help the young guys along this season. They are only averaging 3.71 runs this season, which is 19th overall in the league.
