Athlon Sports has released its All-SEC Preseason teams ahead of the 2019 season, with nine Georgia players making either the first, second, third or fourth team.
Alabama led the way with 13 selections on the 2019 All-SEC team, with Florida, Georgia and Auburn in the next tier with 29 combined picks, Athlon wrote.
For Georgia, running back D’Andre Swift made the first team, along with tackle Andrew Thomas, safety J.R. Reed and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship.
On the second team is quarterback Jake Fromm, behind Tua Tagovailoa, who earned first team honors. Guard Solomon Kindley joins Fromm on the second team.
Tackle Isaiah Wilson and defensive lineman Jordan Davis were Georgia’s two representatives on the third team.
Linebacker Monty Rice made the fourth team.
