Athena40 Forum: Media and Trust… and talking about how the world might look after the pandemic

What will effective leadership look like in a post-pandemic world, asks an all-day online forum.

Panels including international speakers will focus on the latest trends in media, tech, wealth, business, impact investment and philanthropy. The event is on 9 December.

A session on Trust and the Media in association with the Evening Standard and moderated by London Press Club chair Doug Wills will include polling doyen Peter Kellner, campaigning journalist and lecturer Heather Brooke, former BBC journalist and now of the Commonwealth Journalists Association Rita Payne and Evening Standard Home Affairs Editor Martin Bentham.

Other speakers include policymakers and leaders from across all industries: Lord Michael Hastings, HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Tobias Ellwood MP, Vicky Pryce, The Rev Mpho Tutu Van Furth, Veronica Chou, Chris Lewis, Marc Ventresca, Shamim Sarif.

Global Thinkers Forum founder and CEO, former television journalist Elizabeth Filippouli, will chair a panel asking “What will effective leadership look like in a post-pandemic world?”

Keynote speeches by information technology pioneer and philanthropist Dame Stephanie Shirley and by Jeff Hoffman, Chairman of Global Entrepreneurship Week are at 12 noon and at 5.30pm.
