Atalanta star Josip Ilicic has scored against Manchester United, and he has shown in the past that he has an affection for Liverpool.
The 33-year-old forward has been a key player for the Serie A club since his arrival in 2017, scoring 59 goals in 162 appearances.
His latest strike for the Italian club came in their group stage clash against Man United at the Bergamo Stadium on Tuesday evening, where he got his side's first goal of the contest.
It was his first goal in the competition this season, and given that he has Liverpool close to his heart the strike will surely have felt much sweeter.

In May earlier this year, Ilicic updated his Instagram story where he posted a picture of a Liverpool tattoo which he has on his leg.
The tattoo shows a person wearing a football shirt with ‘Ilicic 72’ on the back, while reaching up to touch the ‘This is Anfield’ sign.
Reaching for the famous sign in the Anfield tunnel is a tradition for players throughout the history of Liverpool, and it shows that Ilicic must be a fan of the club to have a permanent memento on his own body.
During the Champions League group stage meetings last season, Ilicic scored Atalanta's first goal as they ran out 2-0 winners at Anfield in November last year, with Robin Gosens netting the other strike.
However, the Slovenia international was an unused substitute for the home game where Liverpool won 5-0 three weeks previously which saw Diogo Jota bag a hat-trick.
