'At this rate, 100%' - Luton Town boss Nathan Jones considers recalling Bolton Wanderers loanee

Luton Town boss Nathan Jones has said he will recall Peter Kioso from his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers if required after several injuries in the Hatters squad.

The 21-year-old joined the Trotters as the club's 20th signing of the summer on a season-long loan from the Trotters.

Since joining the League Two club, Kioso has gone on to become Wanderers boss Ian Evatt's first choice in the right wing back role.

He has made five appearances for the club so far and scored his first Bolton goal in the 3-3 draw against Barrow.

But his parent club are currently experiencing injury troubles in that area of the pitch.

Rhys Norrington-Davies, on loan from Sheffield United, went off at half-time in the Championship club's 3-0 loss against Brentford.

The Hatters also have James Bree and Dan Potts out as well at the moment.

And in light of the injury problems his side are currently going through, Hatters boss Jones has confirmed he will 100% bring Kioso back to Kenilworth Road if needed.

He told Luton Today : “At this rate I’ll 100% call Peter Kioso back.

“That’s not the reason why I left him go, a lot of things have happened in the meantime with that, but yes, 100%.”

Should Kioso depart, Wanderers have Jak Hickman and Gethin Jones, who is currently out injured, in the right wing back and right back area of the pitch.
