The Leeds Community News Hub is open for business again this week.
Following last week's launch, the space at Leeds Trinity University College in Horsforth is available for use for anyone wanting to get involved in journalism projects.
If you run a community group, want some advice about publicising events, learn more about blogging or any other project or investigation – contact us and we'll put you in touch with expert help.
In addition the series of special events continues this Wednesday afternoon with a talk from the Guardian Media Group's director of digital strategy Matt MacAlister at 1pm.
Free tickets for this chance to hear the very latest thinking in the digital sphere are available here.
Myself, Leeds Trintiy Head of Journalism Catherine O'Connor and Guardian Leeds beatblogger John Baron will be working from the hub on Wednesday from 11am and will be on hand to help with any stories visitors are interested in.
Projects already under way
* Visitors to the hub launch last week raised raised some interesting issues around council expenditure which we'll continue to look into.
* We have an ongoing project to map the impact of spending cuts in the city which you can join here.
* The start of a project to record job losses across different wards in Leeds is under way here. Please do get in touch if you'd like to join us with this work.
