At least 7 dead as drone strikes Russian tourist beach

A Ukrainian drone crashed onto a popular beach near Gelendzhik on Russia's Black Sea coast, resulting in seven fatalities, including three children, and 40 injuries.
Russian authorities, including Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, condemned the incident as a deliberate attack on civilians and an act of terrorism by Ukraine.
Ukraine has not issued a statement on this specific attack, though its military consistently maintains it does not intentionally target civilians.
The drone strike occurred near a £1bn complex often referred to as 'Putin's palace,' which the Russian leader denies owning.
This incident takes place amidst ongoing hostilities, with Russia also recently striking Ukrainian civilian targets, prompting protests from Sweden and concerns from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding missile defence capabilities.
