At least 2 teams behind Cardinals in 1st round seeking to trade up

The Arizona Cardinals own the 16th pick of the 2020 NFL draft tonight and it could be they will seek to trade back, depending on how the first 15 picks go. It is believed two cornerbacks and two receivers are their preferred targets.

If all those players are all off the board, they might want to move back and collect more picks, as they do not have selections in the third or fourth rounds.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, at least two teams who have picks after the Cardinals have made calls about trading up, although not necessarily to Arizona.

The New Orleans Saints, who have the 28th pick in the draft, are looking to move up. So are the Chicago Bears, who have the 20th pick.

Rapoport said the Saints could be looking to get somewhere around the 10th pick.

Chicago could be seeking a quarterback, so they would most likely look to move up far ahead of the Cardinals.

But if the Cardinals end up making a trade, the Saints are a team to follow.
