Astros star Alex Bregman is a big Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry fan

Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman might be the enemy for Cleveland Indians fans, but the All-Star has strong ties with Browns wideouts Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.

The three attended LSU together. Bregman and Beckham were neighbors while playing their different sports for the Tigers. The baseball standout joined The Jim Rome Show on CBS Sports to talk about his connection with the Cleveland football stars.

Rome quickly asked about what it was like living next to Beckham, the new Browns wideout.

“He was a hard worker, man,” Bregman responded without hesitation. “Him and Jarvis. Jarvis is one of my best friends from LSU.”

Their work ethic really impressed Bregman.

“Those two were in the football indoor (facility) at LSU catching passes nonstop.”

As for his take on the Browns? yeah, Bregman is a fan:

“I think anyone who is playing Madden football will want to play as the Browns. I know I am. I want to play as Baker Mayfield with Odell and Jarvis out wide.”

The full interview segment with Bregman talking about his Browns friends is worth a listen:
