As celebrations continued around him and the champagne began to flow after Houston's 5-1 win over the LA Dodgers in game seven, the Astros shortstop had something else in mind, and made a beeline for girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez.
With the eyes of the world watching and an adoring crowd surrounding them, Correa told the cameras he was "ready to take another big step in my life".
Of course, Rodriguez said yes — and she is now the proud owner of a ring that puts the ones the Astros players just won to shame.
