The Astronomer HR exec spotted in the arms of a colleague at a Coldplay concert last week has resigned.
Kristin Cabot was seen on the big screen embracing CEO Andy Byron, before ducking with her head in her hands at the band’s Boston show.
A few days ago, Mr Byron resigned, with Pete DeJoy appointed as interim CEO.
In a statement, tech firm Astronomer has confirmed that Cabot has now also stepped down as chief people officer.
In the viral footage, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” as the pair attempted to hide from the camera.
The duo were quickly identified by US media in the clip, with both reported to be in existing relationships.
Astronomer said in a statement: “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding.”
“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
The tech firm also confirmed that no other employees were present at the gig, following false reports claiming one other staff member had been in attendance.
Mr DeJoy said this week that the firm has seen “an unusual and surreal” amount of attention since the incident.
He said said: “The events of the past few days have received a level of media attention that few companies - let alone startups in our small corner of the data and AI world - ever encounter.”
Concertgoers in Boston were given a heads up before the kiss cam was launched around the stadium.
Martin announced: “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd. How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.
“So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!”
