Seven in 10 Irish adults would back a United Ireland, according to new research.
70% of people in Connacht and Ulster and almost 80% of 18 to 24-year-olds would vote in favour of unification.
The figures from the Lottoland survey showed each province voting in favour of a United Ireland.
While those aged 18-24 were decidedly in favour, the 65+ age group was the least supportive with just 53% wanting it.

“With Brexit now resembling the ultimate Lottery rollover, but without the life changing financial reward at the end of it, it’s clear that it’s going to take some balls and a lot of quick picks to deliver the winning numbers that lead to any possible referendum on possible Irish reunification”.
