John McGinn has been handed his first start since December as Aston Villa prepared to face Sheffield United in the opening game of the Premier League's restart this evening.
The midfielder had been out after fracturing his ankle but has recovered after the coronavirus pandemic halted sport for three months. Orjan Nyland also started in goal with Keinan Davis given the nod up front.
Jack O'Connell and John Fleck missed out for Sheffield United after suffering injuries in training while Jack Robinson and Sander Berge returned.
