Aston Villa are believed to be preparing a £30m bid for Odsonne Edouard.
The Frenchman is Celtic's most high-profile asset, having scored 66 goals in 130 games for the club.
22-year-old Edouard has also been capped six times for France's under-21 team, scoring 11 goals.
The Scottish Sun today report that Aston Villa, who finished 17th in the English Premier League, are preparing a £30m bid for the striker.
Edouard has been linked with numerous big clubs, such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
He played in Celtic's 1-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday, with the winning goal coming from new signing Albian Ajeti.
Manager Neil Lennon said: "We get Albi on and he's not fully fit as you can see, but it gives us another attacking option and gives us a great winner and that will do him the world of good. A great day's work.
"I think it's a big goal for him and a big goal for us so already he has made a big contribution and once we see him fully fit, we will see the best of him."
