Aston Villa star Jack Grealish sends message of support to Notts County ahead of play-off clash

Aston Villa star Jack Grealish was among the thousands of people wishing Notts County luck ahead of their play-off semi-final against Barnet on Saturday.

The 24-year-old spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Meadow Lane, making himself a favourite as he scored five goals in 41 appearances when the Magpies were in League One.

These days they are in the National League, but are hoping their exile from the Football League lasts just one season.

Grealish took to Twitter ahead of the tie at Meadow Lane to send his good wishes to Neal Ardley's men.

Since returning to Villa, Grealish has gone on to become one of the most sought after young players in the Premier League.

He will be hoping to help keep Dean Smith's team in the top flight when they play their final game of the season against West Ham this weekend, going into the game in 17th, one place above the relegation zone.

Kick-off at Meadow Lane is at 5pm and you can follow all the build-up here.
