Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has been criticised for his response to message of support for Bristol City forward Benik Afobe.
Former Arsenal midfielder Daniel Crowley has taken to social media to issue a message to Bristol City's Benik Afobe after the former's heroics in the FA Cup for Birmingham City.
Crowley scored his first goal for Birmingham City on Saturday in his side's 2-1 third round victory over Blackburn Rovers.
The 22-year-old then took to social media to dedicate his goal to former Arsenal team-mate Afobe, whose daughter died last month.
After a developing an infection, Afobe's daughter, Amora, passed away due to 'a number of serious complications'.
Crowley's message on social media read: "Buzzing to score my first goal for @bcfc and get through to the next round, that was for you and your family bro @benikafobe."

The kind message was roundly praised but Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, who played with Crowley at Villa, provided a response which has been heavily condemned.
Grealish simply posted the feeling sick emoji in response as pictured above, something which has been criticised.
While it is unclear what the reasoning is behind the Grealish's message, with the player yet to address the post, it is clear why the message has received criticism.
Afobe is on loan at Bristol City from Stoke City until the end of the 2019/20 season.
