Aston Villa star identifies Manchester United's biggest threat ahead of Premier League clash

Aston Villa and England star Tyrone Mings has identified Manchester United's biggest threat ahead of the clash between the two this weekend.

United host Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday (4:30pm kick-off) looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after the 3-3 draw against Sheffield United last time out.

Villa are buoyed by beating Newcastle United on Monday evening, while the Reds have turned a corner of late and moved up to ninth in the top tier.

When it comes to United's biggest threat, Mings has picked out Marcus Rashford as the man who his side must stop in Manchester.

Rashford has scored seven goals in the league this term and added four assists, with the 22-year-old starting to step up after the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez (loan to Inter Milan).

Mings is well aware of Rashford's qualities having worked with the forward whilst on England duty and he knows what his team must do.

"Knowing he is a good player and knowing how to stop him are two different things," Mings told Sky Sports when speaking about Rashford.

"He's a fantastic talent and a player who can produce moments of magic, you just need to look at his free-kick against Chelsea (in the Carabao Cup).

"He is a wonderfully gifted player but we will all have to work hard on Sunday as a back four. We will be looking to back up our most recent clean sheet (against Newcastle) with another one."
