Who will join Norwich City and Sheffield United in the Premier League next season?

Aston Villa, Derby County, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion are the four teams in contention for the final promotion spot.

But who should you be backing to triumph in the playoffs to become the third and final team to make the jump this year?

Who is in the Championship playoffs 2018/19?

Leeds United, under the command of the enigmatic Marcelo Bielsa, finished third after having previously looked certain to win automatic promotion this season.

In fourth place, West Brom who are looking to bounce back after relegation from the topflight last season.

Aston Villa finished fifth, having been beaten by Fulham at Wembley in the playoff final last year.

Last but not least, Frank Lampard's Derby County will be hoping to spring a shock having pipped Bristol City and Middlesbrough to the final playoff place.

When is the Championship playoff final 2018/19?

The Championship playoff final will take place at Wembley Stadium on May 27.

Kick off is set for 15:00 with the winners of Aston Villa's tie with West Brom taking on the winners of Derby County and Leeds United's tie.

Last season, Aston Villa lost to Fulham in the grand finale at Wembley.

In previous years, Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Norwich and Queens Park Rnagers have all advanced to the Premier League through this route.
