Aston Villa announce bus parade in Birmingham after ending 30-year wait for major trophy

Aston Villa will hold an open-top bus victory parade through Birmingham city centre on Thursday to celebrate their Europa League final win.
The club secured their first European trophy in 44 years by defeating Freiburg 3-0 in Istanbul on Wednesday night.
The parade, featuring three buses, will commence at 4:30pm from Branston Street in the Jewellery Quarter, covering a 4.5km route.
Birmingham City Council will implement temporary road closures and parking suspensions to facilitate the event.
This victory marks Villa's first silverware since 1996 and their first continental trophy since the European Cup in 1982, and Prince William was in Istanbul on Wednesday to celebrate the historic achievement.
