Vanquish-based Speedster and Shooting Brake are being shown of the first time at the 2017 Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach.

Hmm, that’s a good way of doing business with supercars…
It certainly is and has already become the norm among makers of supercars in maximising the business case of every mainstream model on sale.
After unveiling two special editions of the five-year-old Vanquish with Zagato last year, Aston Martin has built another two body styles. Joining the Coupe and Volante are Speedster and Shooting Brake, both of which are being shown for the first time at the 2017 Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, California.

Those humps look cool!
Definitely, which is something Aston Martin and the famous Italian design house are keen in touting the looks of the Speedster. Porsche is another brand that occasionally enjoys fettling the 911 and Boxster with Speedster-style bodies.
You would probably also be delighted with the super-sleek profile of the Shooting Brake which is a strict two-seater, though, with a cargo bay capable of housing a tailored luggage set.
As with the Coupe and Volante, both the Speedster and Shooting Brake use the 600hp 6.0-litre V12 and eight-speed automatic from the Vanquish S. However, the adaptive damping of the suspension has been individually fine-tuned to suit each model’s traits. All four Aston Zagatos have body panels made from carbonfibre.

Are they sold out yet?
Due to the rarity of the Speedster, all 28 units allocated for production have been sold out. Like the Coupe and Volante (both sold out since last year), 99 units of the Shooting Brake will be made and is still reportedly up for grabs. The whole family of Aston Zagatos comes to 325 units.
Should any of these models come to Thailand, expect to pay more than 40 million baht for them with the Speedster probably commanding the highest price.
