A huge asteroid that is said to be three times the size of a blue whale is moving past the Earth on Monday.
The mega rock has been named 2021 GT2 and NASA says it is estimated to be between 121 and 272 feet wide, the Daily Record reports.
It won't be something the naked eye could see, however, nor should we be worried about any damage as it is moving at a safe distance of 2.2 million miles away.

But still, the asteroid is expected to move close enough for it to be monitored by NASA, who will put it through on their Earth Close Approaches tables.
Space agencies only class an asteroid as 'potentially dangerous', if it comes within 4.65 million miles of Earth and is bigger than a certain size.
Its next close encounter with our planet won't be until January 26, 2034, when it passes significantly further out than it will today.
While chances of an asteroid crashing into Earth are slim, it has been reported that NASA is currently investigating whether a huge space rock could be taken off course by crashing a rocket into it.
Back in November 2021, the space agency launched an asteroid-deflecting spacecraft and is expected to hit the Dimorphos asteroid this year fall.
NASA confirmed that the mega rock will not be destroyed.
