
In celebration of Arabic Language Day, which falls on December 18, the Assilah Forum Foundation organized a civic education workshop for children on the Arabic language and its role in culture and innovation at the Prince Bandar bin Sultan Library in Assilah.
Given by Mustapha Al-Baelish, the workshop was attended by over 20 boys and girls, who also learned about the beauty of Arab aesthetics and the language’s historic contribution to spreading knowledge and its impact on human civilization. They also wrote their own essays at the event.
Speaking about the comprehensive cultural program of "Assilah Season" and how it has something for visitors of all ages, Assilah Forum Foundation Secretary-General Abdul Kabir Al-Bassiri explained that the Cultural Museum of Assilah has been held since 1978 and has always focused on children and shaping them through art workshops, with some of the children benefiting greatly from it and becoming star names in the scene because of it.
Writing workshops are also organized, and several young innovative talents were discovered and writing skills were developed through them.
