Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access Adds New Cars, Tracks and Modes

505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni have released their first big Steam Early Access update for Assetto Corsa EVO. The update features seven new cars, two new tracks and introduces a few new modes.

The new cars include classics and fan favorites like the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, Lotus Exige V6 Cup, Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (964), Mazda MX-5 (NA), Honda NSX-R, Maserati GT2 and the Alfa Romeo 75 1.8 Turbo Evoluzione. On the track side, Circuit of the Americas and Donington Park have been added to the lineup.

New Modes

  • Open Mode is a fully offline experience which allows players to have immediate access to all vehicles and vehicle customization, without any progression or driving license requirement.
  • Career Mode features player progression, integrates the in-game economy and Driving Academy, aiming to provide a progress based experience to players who prefer this gameplay path, additionally, the Career based part of the game can be played without the need for Internet connection.
  • Custom Race Weekend: this new mode will allow players to design their own complete race event including Practice, Qualifying and Warm Up before the Race event itself, both in laps or time based sessions.

The update also introduces the new Replay Gallery, giving players the ability to save and rewatch their races or laps. With options like slow motion, camera changes and session review, it’s a handy tool for anyone looking to analyze their performance, capture key moments or create content to share.

A bunch of tweaks to improve overall gameplay and stability, especially for those using VR or triple screen setups are included in the update as well. AI has received some attention too, with a new custom opponent generation page that adds a bit more variety and challenge. For the full rundown, check out the official site and patch notes.
