The next sitting of the Tamil Nadu Assembly would be held between April 6 and May 10, Speaker M. Appavu said on Wednesday. A decision on the duration of the session was taken at a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee.
The House would not meet during weekends (except on May 7) between April 6 and May 10 and also on Tamil New Year Day on April 14, Good Friday on April 15, on May 2 and on Ramzan on May 3. The Bills tabled in the House, if any, would be taken up for consideration and adopted after a voice vote on the last day of the session on May 10.
