ASOS shopper's cheeky comeback to Hermes driver as he snaps proof of delivery

A man's hilarious response to his Hermes delivery driver's proof of delivery snap has left people online "cackling".

When carrying out deliveries, Hermes takes photos to show customers where they have left the delivery.

This also helps to prove whether or not items have been delivered, reports Daily Star.

So when a Hermes driver caught Twitter user Ryan just as he'd arrived home, they handed over the parcel and took a quick snapshot.

But Ryan appeared to be the main focus of this driver's particular drop-off as it captured him opening his front door.

Ryan shared the picture to Twitter and it had other users in stitches as the post went viral.

The lad shared a screenshot of the email he received from Hermes with the photo alongside a hilarious comeback.

He wrote: "Thanks Hermes I think I got it."

Since being posted, the tweet has received more than 84,000 likes and 4,000 retweets.

Numerous Twitter users who found the post hilarious also commented, as one said: "I’m cackling," adding several laughing emojis.

Another wrote: "I'm HOWLING," while a third joked: "Please go back with 'I don’t know this man.'"

"Next they’ll take a selfie with you whilst you answer the door in your dressing gown," joked a fourth.

Ryan seemed to be loving his new online fame as he joked he was 'papped' and promoted his Instagram page.
