ASOS shopper confused by 'bin bag' skirt that you can't wear any knickers under

When it comes to fashion, some people can be very hard to please.

Online retailer ASOS sells a range of items from a number of brands, so it's likely there's something on their site for everyone.

But every now and then they offer customers an item that they can all agree is downright bizarre.

Currently shoppers are mocking a lace-up vinyl skirt, which is being sold for £20.

A snap of the unusual garment was shared on Instagram by the account @asbos_sos, where it has since gone viral and baffled many.

The PVC-style mini skirt, which is made by PrettyLittlething but sold on ASOS, was slammed by shoppers who compared the look to a "ripped bin bag".

The image was captioned: "Don't u hate it when ur binbag rips."

It has since garnered more than 1,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

One person pointed out that it was not very practical, as you wouldn't be able to wear knickers under it.

They said: "Another no pants day with rubber... sweaty heaven."

Another replied: "When you know you trash but you make an effort anyway."

A third added: "How do you even wear that? Do you thread it first or..."

Others just shared laughing emojis in response to the whole thing.

It's not the only bizarre piece of clothing being sold by the company.

ASOS were also recently ridiculed for selling a dress that looked like a sack of onions.

The garment in question is the  Elissa Poppy Lacetex Slip dress , which was originally put online for £350, but went down in the sale to £210.

The mesh design is completely see-through, just like the red netting you find around onions.

A baffled Twitter user named Jay Sharif, shared a photo of the dress and a bag of onions on Twitter.

He wrote: "350 for a dress that looks like onion bag sack allow that. #dress #wtf #asos #onalevel #ripped."
