ASOS launches new feature to help shoppers choose the perfect fit

ASOS has introduced a new feature which shows the same outfit on models of all shapes and sizes.

When it comes to online shopping, sometimes it can be a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to making sure you order the right outfit in terms of shape and size.

This can be made even more difficult when the outfit you want is only available to view on a model with a completely different figure to yourself - which happens with most mainstream clothing brands at the moment.

To be fair, more and more retailers are listing models height and dress sizes to help shoppers draw a comparison.

The new feature shows the same outfit on models of all shapes and sizes and shoppers are over the moon, reports Manchester Evening News.

The new feature is only available on 49 items at the moment (ASOS)

Sharing a screen grab of the new website feature on Twitter, one social media user wrote: "So  @ASOS  has a new feature where you can look at an outfit on different models of different sizes. You can even compare more than one model."

Explaining how to use the feature, another user said: "If you type ‘see my fit’ into the search bar it'll show the dresses that this feature is available on.

“It's only available on 49 dresses and you have to click on the item to see the feature. When you go to it, it has a lil tab that says 'view model'."

Yael Vizel, CEO of Zeekit, who helped to develop the new feature, said: "With our patented, artificial intelligence-based AR technology powering See My Fit, we can connect the dots between what you see when shopping and what you receive at home, giving customers more confidence in purchasing the products they love."
