ASOS is set to make a major change to its returns process

Online fashion giant ASOS will soon be changing the way customers return items in a move which could divide shoppers.

Currently, ASOS is loved by its customers for how easy it is to return items - ticking a returns form, sticking a pre paid label onto the front of the packages which even come pre sticked so you don't need Sellotape - it couldn't be easier.

But soon ASOS will be going paperless and things will change.

While the retailer isn't releasing much information on how the new process will work exactly, it will be opting for QR codes.

It means customers will need to use a mobile QR code rather than having a returns label inside their packages.

The change comes after ASOS announced a clampdown to those who regularly return items earlier this year. It said frequent returners might now be considered suspicious, and potentially refused a refund.

And if you're caught, you could have your access or account blocked, too.

ASOS has also hinted that this year's Black Friday could be the biggest ever after a disappointing 2018 - you can read the full details here.
