ASOS bikini ad has shoppers distracted by model holding peculiar prop choice

Another day, another swimwear advert which raises both questions and eyebrows.

However, this time, it's not the item of swimwear itself which has puzzled prospective customers.

Instead, in an ASOS Instagram post, it's a choice of prop which has sparked confusion and laughter.

To be fair, it makes a refreshing change from the never-ending stream of peculiar bikini trends - the most recent one being the daring 'underboob bikini' .

Then there's the liquid refreshment. The model is holding a glass of juice but there's also milky tea.

Social media users were, as ever, quick to spot and pick apart the prop detail.

One commented: "Lovely bikini...interesting collection of food?!"

Another, more blunt comment read: "Nice bikini.... WHAT THE F**K IS SHE EATING?"

The questions kept flooding in, with one person asking: "Is she having a roast, Chinese or breakfast?"

"Baked beans with a roast potato and a raw carrot with a milky cup of tea, wow" marvelled someone else.

But could there be a simple explanation for the smorgasbord? Many users' comments seemed to suggest the model was simply taking advantage of an all-inclusive hotel's breakfast spread.

"When the hotel’s all inclusive and you just put one of everything on your plate," wrote one.

Let's be honest - most of us are guilty of this...
