ASOS 'Angel' ring baffles shoppers in manicure snap

Online clothing retailer ASOS left its fans baffled after sharing a picture of one of its at-home manicure sets.

ASOS gave its 10.5 million followers a look at th new exclusive collaboration with The Gypsy Shrine Instagram.

The manicure went down well with many and fans were quick to compliment the pastel-coloured star design.

But some were more intrigued by one of the model's rings.

On the woman's index finger was a dainty gold band, and on her ring finger, a chunkier statement piece - which many people struggled to read.

The top comment on the post reads: "Legit thought that ring said 'bagel'".

What do you think it says? (ASOS)

Another added: "Wait then, what does it actually say?”

Can you work it out?

Thankfully a shopper cleared up any confusion, as they said: "(It says) angel. Took me a minute."

But one fan wasn't opposed to the foodie-themed ring as they wrote: "I’d buy it if it said bagel."

You can get your hands on the Shrine X ASOS Exclusive Galactic Fantasy False Nails for £12.

But this isn't the only item that has divided ASOS fans recently.

Eagled-eyed fans were quick to spot a spelling blunder on its 'ASOS DESIGN 'be kind' shopper bag'.

There was a typo (ASOS)

The bag, which is on sale for £6, read: "Be Kind To Yourself. SLEEP BREATH REFLECT REPEAT."

But the typo left many people confused.

One person said: "Bought lots of your stuff over the years. Am I missing something re. this bag? Surely 'breath' should be 'breathe', right?"

And a second added: "Think it’s meant to be 'breathe' and not 'breath'. Imagine paying £6 on a canvas shopping bag that isn't even correct."
