Aslan, Pillow Queens and Wyvern Lingo to play Rock Against Homelessness streaming event

Some of Dublin and Ireland’s top musical stars will be performing as part of a Rock Against Homelessness streaming event in aid of Focus Ireland on June 20th at 8pm.

The event, put together by Independent.ie, will feature a series of performances from some of our most iconic venues, compered by Panti Bliss and Laura Whitmore.

Finglas legends Aslan will perform from the stage of the Olympia Theatre, with their set including a guest appearance from Waterford-born veteran Gilbert O’Sullivan.

Northside indie rockers Pillow Queens, who recently made their debuts on both RTÉ1's The Late Late Show and Tonight with James Corden on American TV, will play four songs from Windmill Lane studios in Ringsend.

Bray trio Wyvern Lingo, Tullamore’s Tolü Makay and 80s star Lesley Dowdall will also be taking part from Dublin, while the show will feature performances from Rodrigo y Gabriela from their native Mexico, Ryan McMullan from Belfast and Ken Griffin (ex-Rollerskate Skinny) with his new band The High Leaves from New York.

Rubberbandits star Blindboy Boatclub will also contribute from his living room.

Tickets cost €23 and are available tomorrow (29th) from 10am via Ticketmaster. The concert will be available in its entirety to view for seven days after the event, until 4pm on June 27th.
