Aslan make major announcement after the band were forced to postpone their 3Arena gig in September

Dublin rockers Aslan will play Dublin’s 3Arena next March after they were forced to postpone the gig last September when front man Christy Dignam was admitted to hospital.

The band had to cancel their massive 40th anniversary gig in September as frontman Christy Dignam was hospitalised for several weeks.

However, they have now announced a new date for their rescheduled Dublin headline show at 3Arena.

The band will be performing on Saturday March 18, 2023.

Announcing the rescheduled gig, the delighted group said: "We firstly want to thank you all, for your continued support and understanding.

"We want to apologise for our gig dates being rescheduled to 2023, but as always, we have to prioritise Christy’s health and well being.

"He has been through a tough time.

"We also want to thank you all, for your continuous well wishes and positivity you are sharing with Christy and ourselves…

"We are so looking forward to seeing you all at 3Arena for this extra special gig!

"On behalf of everyone in Aslan… Thank you all so much!!"

All tickets for the old date are valid for the new show, while more tickets are on sale priced from €49.50 via Ticketmaster.
