Chao Chao, a takeaway which puts a fresh twist on Chinese food, will be expanding to open a second branch - this time in Arnold.
It's just over a year since the South East Asian urban kitchen burst onto the food and drink scene, in Melton Road, West Bridgford, with a fusion menu of classic Cantonese dishes and Asian street food favourites.
The independent business is moving into a former vape shop - sandwiched between pizza takeaways, Papa John's and Domino's, in Croft Road.
Flavours spanning the continent make up the menu from Japanese rice dishes donburi and sweet and sour chicken to ramen noodle soup and Thai curries.
The vibrant fast food takeaway takes a clean, green approach. It doesn't add MSG, gluten-free and vegan options are available and the cutlery is plastic-free.
The Arnold outlet will be decked out with the same vibrant blue and yellow branding and customers will be able to watch chefs in action in an open kitchen.
As well as takeaway, there's will be row of seats at the window for eating in plus home delivery.
A spokeswoman said: "We are different from the market. We're fresher, clean and greener. We saw a really good really opportunity in Arnold."
