MUMBAI: Three Mumbai bowlers - pacer Tushar Deshpande, off-spinner Tanush Kotian and left-arm spinner Shams Mulani have been asked by the BCCI to report to Alur on Tuesday for Team India's Asia Cup camp, which will begin from Wednesday.
Deshpande and Kotian were in Salem in Tamil Nadu, where the Mumbai senior team is currently stationed for the Buchi Babu All-India Invitation Cricket Tournament 2023.
While Mulani has returned from England, where he was touring as a part of the Mumbai Indians' developmental squad.
"The trio will join the camp as net bowlers. Around five bowlers from Karnataka too have been called up for the camp," a source told TOI.
Mumbai cricket team is currently playing a four-day practice tie against hosts Tamil Nadu-the match was arranged by current TN coach Sulakshan Kulkarni, an ex-Mumbai coach.
