Ashnoor Kaur, who has been part of the television industry since she was a child, now wants to explore different roles and mediums. Ashnoor, who has acted in shows like Jhansi Ki Rani and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai , says, "I have taken a small break from television because I want to also explore other mediums. I have worked on TV since I was a kid, but now as an adult I want to be picky with the kind of roles I take up because that will decide my future. I don't want to do typical saas-bahu melodrama on TV. Of course I don't mind taking up something that was as good as Patiala Babes."
Ashnoor, who's also doing music videos lately, says that she's on a short break right now. She says, "There are few things in pipeline but I am taking it slow and being selective. I have taken a short break from work and I am focusing on my studies also working on improving my craft. I have joined kathak classes to improve my dancing skills. So while I am doing less work, I am not wasting my time. Instead, I'm working on my skills."
Earlier in a conversation, Ashnoor had shared about wanting to learn movie making. So is that still on her mind? She says, "I am currently doing my bachelors in mass media. There we are given many projects in which I am involved in direction and that teaches me a lot more than I have seen so far. In the future, I would like to take it up someday."
